krafton® is a renowned and highly experienced Dutch manufacturer of glass fibre reinforced plastic profiles. The abbreviations GFRP, FRP, or GRP profiles are commonly used interchangeably for glass fibre reinforced plastic.

GFRP profiles are used in various industries, construction, rail infrastructure, HVAC, and more. They are characterised by their excellent mechanical, dynamic, and thermal properties. In addition, their high UV resistance, corrosion resistance, and electrical insulation capability are key product advantages.

Since 1978, krafton® has developed a wide range of high-quality plastic and GFRP profiles. With an outstanding team of experts, the GFRP profiles are manufactured in the production halls in Heijningen using pultrusion technology, also known as profile pulling.

The high-quality raw materials and top-grade moulds ensure that the GFRP profiles have excellent chemical resistance and optimal dimensional stability. krafton® GFRP profiles are characterised by outstanding and consistent quality, which has been recognised with numerous approvals, certifications, and assessments, including EBA, DIBt, and TÜV. European Standard, DIBt and EBA

Our GFRP profiles are tested in accordance with the European standard NEN-EN 13706. This standard defines the minimum required quality and specifies the technical properties and calculation values for two quality categories: the E23 series with a bending modulus of 23 GPa and the E17 series with a bending modulus of 17 GPa. The profiles in the krafton® range meet the E23 class. This certification provides both you and us with the assurance of safe and durable performance of our GFRP profiles in various applications.

In addition to the European standard, our profiles hold EBA and DIBt approvals, representing an even higher level of product quality.

Many years of research and development have resulted in an extensive portfolio of GFRP profiles, such as U-profiles, box profiles, and angle profiles. Many of these profiles are in stock, and our profiles are standardly produced in grey.
